The Survive Alive Village
The Survive Alive Village

Survive Alive is an interactive village designed to teach fire and life safety education. With the use of state-of-the-art simulated fire, the children learn life saving techniques helping them to escape the perils of a fire. Survive Alive is designed for children of all ages, but especially for those in the second grade.

Children attending Survive Alive participate in hands-on learning.

  • Classroom training provided by a real Marion County Firefighter
  • Escape from a simulated fire situation inside the Survive Alive house. Once they "escape" from the house kids find a phone and call 911.
  • Evaluation and testing of what is learned and retained.
The Survive Alive Village is open for tours Monday through Friday. Sessions are available at 10AM and 1:30PM. All tours must be arranged in advance.
